Yes, you get those "dope" hats at a PRICE. See when I say charity I mean charity. We pay to belong to these organizations. We pay an annual dues, We buy our Fez (hat) starting price $400 without the jewels, if you are lucky someone might be selling a used one for $200. And those cars and trucks the men have to buy them they do not belong to the organization. We normally hold some type of fund raisers each month and we contribute to the fund raiser, we attend dinners and formal dances and we pay to attend, we buy the gowns and tuxes to attend none of this is cheap. Then we donate money. We are just a dedicated bunch for of folks who LOVE kids. Everybody's kids.
While the men's group raise the money for the hospital. The ladies raise the money for the family needs.
One of the big joys is going to the hospitals and staying with families while their children are in the hospital making sure they have everything they need. We recognize these are stressful times for the parents and they need to focus on their child not on finances. We see that if they are away from home they have hotel accommodations and meals paid for by us. We also provide transportation if the facility is a distance from their home. We have annual drives for toys for the hospitals. -

I love this organization. I have been involved with the Shriner's since I was a child best group of men you could ever meet in your life. I belong to their counterpart The Ladies of the Oriental Shrine. A child who goes to one of their hospitals the parents will never see a bill and will never be asked any questions regarding religious affiliation.
Shriner's Hospital in Canada
The Exceptional Care for Exceptional Kids Campaign raised an extraordinary $130,650,327 exceeding the goal of $130 million. The funds supported the construction of the new Shriners Hospital for Children® – Canada, which opened on October 5, 2015, and the Francis Glorieux Chair in Pediatric Musculoskeletal Research.
Thank you to the over 6000 donors who supported the campaign. Because of you, children will bone disorders will receive care in an ultra-modern hospital.
“With our children and their families in mind, we created a warm and welcoming hospital,” says Imperial Potentate Jerry G. Gantt. “The building itself is beautiful, each floor designed to reflect a different region of Canada from the Atlantic to the Pacific and the Great North; each floor is designed to be a place of healing, a haven for the children and families who turn to us for care. by rebelfighter inso after the 2 special pioneers visited i thought i had given them an earful about the arc and the pedophile problem in their organization surely they would have put me on the do not call list.. oh, no not my luck i get an elder and his lovely little mute wife with infant child in the stroller this morning at 9 am.
don't these people have a job to go to?
it was a car with 3 men & a woman.. we go through the standard do you read the bible yada yada, i tell them i know the routine very familiar with your game.

Thanks Steve maybe now I will get put on the do not call list. LOL But I so enjoy removing some of the blindfolds that they are wearing. Like the "Elder" said one day you research everything! Yeap I do! When I have the time I do or the need. -

Thank you, I saw the stroller and if I can keep a child from getting hurt I would have gone on for another hour. The only thing that stopped me was my favorite doctor's appointment.
I have major issues with so many of those cartoons as does the general public.
I hope this young man will take to heart what I said and something I said will sink in. He suggested that I go to their official website and I told him that I used to but refused to because the GB will only report to YOU a slanted version of the WT news. They tell only your good news none of your bad news.

Thankful for my babies

so i was just reflecting on how happy i am to have my babies, despite the orgs.
not so subtle requests that married couples not have babies in order to further serve the org.

I was a very successful business woman but by far the best job I ever had was being a MOM! Enjoy every moment of it, they grow up to fast, the years past before you know what happened and all of a sudden there are little grand babies running at your feet. -

I am so sorry your family has been torn apart by this religion.
Never a JW but at one point my son, his girlfriend and their baby (out all of you do not jump on me, that is their business not mine) were living with me all expenses paid for 9 months. Their behavior got so bad I changed the locks on the doors after much warnings. On move out day they brought her mother with to play guard dog so that I could not get anywhere near my grandson. I always liked this lady she has had a hard life. But these kids not really kids both 30 performed as usual that day very very disrespectful toward me. So they left my 2000 Sq ft home and moved in with her parents. They had 2 bedrooms here. They had only one there because it was a run down single wide mobile home and daddy charged them rent and they had to buy their own grocery and do their own laundry.
On move out day her mom saw exactly how they were treating me and all the disrespect, they returned one week Later well I had never heard so many please and thank you in my life. Their car was not fully in park before my grandson was in my arms.
They lasted 4 months in that arrangement started looking halfway between the two sets of grandparents which would be about 20 minutes. They now live 5 minutes from me. I have the best daughter in law we have a great relationship. I love here so much her mom just needed to talk to her.

One classic lie that comes to mind since I am totally exhausted and ready for bed is question asked of Jackson: If someone is fading and the Elders should drop by and find them celebrating Christmas would they be subject to a JC, and DF? His response was something along the lines of: not to my understanding.

Thank you. When the subject involves children and women it is pretty easy they happen to be my passions. I will fight for anyone's child any day not just mine. Same goes for women, hate to see women treated like second class citizens.
